Let’s break burnout culture. Are you in?

Right now, times are tough and almost everyone’s feeling it.

The most common thing we hear from champions and leaders around the globe is: “How do I look after my team, keep up with the demands, and not burn out at the same time?”

Sound familiar? I know you’re working hard, often at the expense of your own wellbeing.

With 57% of the workforce at high risk of burnout, it’s clear we can’t go on like this. We need to act now.

You’ve probably been feeling the pressure of burnout culture yourself…

Work is intense right now – high workloads, hybrid teams, the push back to the office, AI, complex systems, customer aggression… the list goes on.

You’ve probably found yourself thinking:

  • What changes can I actually make in my workplace? What are others doing?
  • How do I look after my own wellbeing and still show up for my team?
  • How do I get others on board with this – and where do I even start?

And when you try to take the next step, it’s easy to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just unsure where to begin.

You’re in the right place if…

You’ve been meaning to take action, but don’t know where to begin.

Or, you’ve been trying to improve wellbeing for you and your team, but looking for the next step.

When you’re focused on managing multiple priorities, it’s easy for wellbeing to get overlooked – until it’s too late.

You want things to be better – for your wellbeing and your team’s health and business performance.

And you want to talk to other people who are doing this work to learn from them and shares the highs and lows.

But you’re also juggling a lot…

You might feel stretched thin trying to support your team’s wellbeing while managing your own and… juggling life on the home front.

With limited time, resources, and senior leadership support, you might feel like you’re on a long, slow, lonely road.

And even when you’re passionate about championing change, it can be tough to know what to focus on first.

Too often, wellbeing gets sidelined as all the other demands take over.

We see it all the time. That’s why we created this shareable graph. These are really common (and costly) issues.

Plus, it’s noisy out there

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the constant flow of wellbeing advice, especially with the endless social media feeds and conflicting recommendations.

You can easily spend hours Googling solutions, only to end up unsure which sources you can trust.

With your already full workload, you don’t have time to sift through all the noise.

What you need is straightforward, reliable information that helps you create real change without the uncertainty (there’s enough of that already!).

You’re looking for bite-sized, actionable insights that you can use now. And you want to build your skills and be part of a community that gets it.

Sound like you?

Welcome, you’re in the right place!

Hi, I’m Sarah McGuinness, the founder of ROW (read more here), and I’m on a mission to break burnout culture for good, and I’m glad you’re here.

Having worked in corporate environments across Australia and New Zealand, I know how tough it can be. With a background in corporate communications, leadership, psychology, and organisational development, I understand what it takes to create real, sustainable change.

I have the privilege of chatting and working with people like you every day. And I live and breathe this work because I’m passionate about helping businesses and people create sustainable change that sticks.

Burnout cannot be the price we all pay for productivity.

Introducing ROW

ROW is a growing movement with a mission to break burnout culture, and a clear goal: to build workplaces that actually work for people.

While workplace wellbeing has come a long way, the big challenges haven’t gone away. ROW exists to change that, and we’d love you to join us.

We’re a powerful global community of people leading change in real, practical ways. Support here is peer-to-peer, evidence-based, and supported by experts. Everyone has something to contribute because we’re stronger together.

One thing we know for sure is the next chapter isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing things differently. It’s about co-creating, backing each other, and building something that lasts.

Because breaking burnout culture for good takes all of us. If you’re ready to be part of something bigger, welcome. You’re in the right place, and we’re just getting started.
