Let’s break burnout culture. Are you in?

Right now, times are tough and almost everyone’s feeling it.

The most common thing we hear from champions and leaders around the globe is: “How do I look after my team, keep up with the demands, and not burn out at the same time?”

Sound familiar? I know you’re working hard, often at the expense of your own wellbeing.

With 57% of the workforce at high risk of burnout, it’s clear we can’t go on like this. We need to act now.

You’ve probably been feeling the pressure of burnout culture yourself…

Work is intense right now – high workloads, hybrid teams, the push back to the office, AI, complex systems, customer aggression… the list goes on.

You’ve probably found yourself thinking:

  • Who can help me with this?
  • What changes can I actually make in my workplace?
  • How do others manage this?
  • How do I look after myself and still show up for my team?
  • How do I get others on board with this – and where do I even start?

And when you try to take the next step, it’s easy to feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just unsure where to begin.

You’re in the right place if…

You’ve been meaning to take action, but don’t know where to begin.

Or you’ve been trying to improve wellbeing for you and your team, but looking for the next step.

There are multiple priorities on your plate and, while you’re motivated, you’re tired of feeling pulled in fifty different directions and not making headway.

You want things to be better and want relief and a roadmap forward. You want to be able to realise your potential, and that of your team.

And you want to talk to other people who are doing this work – to learn from them and share highs and lows. You want support and to know people have your back.

But there are lots of hurdles…

Change is constant in your business – not just small tweaks, but big, disruptive shifts.

You have limited time and resources, and don’t have the headspace to be strategic, so wellbeing support is more reactive.

Wellbeing work has been sidelined by other business priorities.

We see these challenges all the time.

That’s why we created this shareable graph for people in wellbeing roles. The gap between understanding the importance of healthy work and actually taking action is a common (and costly!) issue.

For leaders, wellbeing demands are now greater in your team, but there has rarely been an opportunity for you to upskill in managing them effectively.

Plus, it’s noisy out there

You can easily spend hours Googling solutions, only to end up unsure which sources you can trust.

With your already full workload, you don’t have time to sift through all the noise.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the constant flow of wellbeing advice, especially with the endless social media feeds and conflicting recommendations.

What you need is straightforward, reliable information that helps you create real change without the uncertainty (there’s enough of that already!).

You’re looking for bite-sized, actionable insights that you can use now. And you want to build your skills and be part of a community that gets it.

Sound like you?

Welcome, you’re in the right place!

Hi, I’m Sarah McGuinness, the founder of ROW (read more here), and I’m on a mission to break burnout culture for good, and I’m glad you’re here.

Having worked in corporate environments across Australia and New Zealand, I know how tough it can be. With a background in corporate communications, leadership, psychology, and organisational development, I understand what it takes to create real, sustainable change.

I have the privilege of chatting and working with people like you every day. And I live and breathe this work because I’m passionate about helping businesses and people create sustainable change that sticks.

Burnout cannot be the price we all pay for productivity.

ROW is here to change the way work works

We help leaders and teams prevent burnout, build sustainable performance, and create workplaces that actually work for people. While workplace wellbeing has evolved, those big challenges haven’t gone away – so we’re here to provide practical, evidence-based solutions to address them.

Our global community is made up of people leading change in real, practical ways – from in-house roles to consultants. When you join our courses or membership programs, support is peer-to-peer, grounded in evidence, and guided by experts. Everyone contributes, because lasting change takes all of us.

The next chapter isn’t about doing more – it’s about doing things differently. Co-creating, backing each other, and building workplaces that support sustainable performance.

If you’re ready to lead well, protect your team, and make a real difference, you’re in the right place.
