Recovery from burnout can be a lonely experience, but it shouldn’t have to be. We’re exploring the idea of hosting burnout support groups – a supportive, judgment-free space for people in recovery from burnout to connect, share, and learn from each other’s experiences.
These groups won’t be therapy sessions, but they will provide an opportunity to build community and explore practical tools for navigating life during and after burnout.
Each session will focus on a specific theme, such as setting boundaries, managing energy levels, navigating work, or finding purpose and balance.
Initially, the groups will be facilitated by Sarah McGuinness, who brings a professional background in psychology, training and experience in running support groups, and her own lived experience with burnout recovery. You can read more about Sarah’s background here.
