It’s a question I get asked all the time in my presentations - how do you fit wellbeing into a jam-packed schedule? With so much on our plates at any given time, it’s easy to feel stuck before you even start. Chris Desmond, a health expert with 20 years of experience, recently shared how he squeezes exercise into his day, so I went to get his take. His advice? Keep it simple, focus on what matters, and ditch the all-or-nothing mindset.

Staying healthy when life is busy can feel like trying to solve a Rubik's cube blindfolded. Chris Desmond, a physiotherapist and director with 20 years of experience, recently wrote a LinkedIn post about how he squeezes exercise into his day, so I thought I’d get his take.

He sums it up perfectly: "We're all busy people living in a very busy world." It’s a struggle so many of us know - wanting to prioritise our health but constantly juggling everything else.

Two big roadblocks get in the way: not enough time and too much information. Chris points out that between Instagram fitness gurus and a flood of scientific studies, it's easy to feel overwhelmed.

"Apparently there are 50,000 active biomedical journals right now, and they’re just pumping out research papers," he says. The sheer volume of advice makes it hard to know where to start.
