The question I hear most often from leaders of all levels is: “How do I look after myself, support my team, do business as usual, and lead change – without burning out?”

Post the pandemic, modern work has become increasingly pressured by competing demands, expectations to be ‘always-on and available’, and constant organisational change.

Most leaders I work with aren’t struggling because they lack capability or commitment. They’re making critical decisions, supporting others, and working in environments where the pace is often unrelenting.

Leadership can absolutely feel isolating when responsibility, uncertainty, and performance expectations mix with concerns about how to make it all work.

My approach is grounded in both evidence and experience. I’ve supported hundreds of leaders and wellbeing leads, worked inside complex organisations, and conducted academic research into burnout, recovery, and sustainable performance.

We’re not looking to add to your workload. Rather, it’s about addressing business needs, protecting your capacity, and creating ways of working that are more sustainable – for you and the people you lead.

My approach is adaptive and blends human-centred design, organisational psychology, motivational interviewing, and real-world experience.

I also draw on research into the essential ingredients for healthy work and burnout prevention, from a systems and individual level.
